Here is a list of all the supplies you will need for your new bunny

 

1. PELLETS

2. GRASS HAY

(timothy hay, orchard grass, meadow hay)

3. WATER + FOOD BOWLS

Get something large and heavy so your rabbit cannot tip it

4. CAGE/HOUSING OPTION

(you will need this even if you are free-roaming!)

Our recommendations:

• Dog pen/"x-pen"

• NIC grids

• Living world rabbit cage

• Wabbitat rabbit cage (should be connected to a pen or only used as a home base)

• Commercially available hutches are not sturdy enough to house rabbits outdoors. It's best to build a hutch or get one custom built for you! Here's an example of a great diy outdoor hutch

5. LITTER BOX

We like litter boxes with grates to keep your bunny clean

• Small grated litter box

• Van Ness cat litter box (no grate)

6. LITTER

Avoid heavily scented and clay litters
